3/4/19 i think

you said something about Greece and I didn't hear what pages so I just kind of threw a dart and now im taking notes on page 121 about greek city-states.
  • 2000 BC: Minoan civilization prospers on Crete
  • 1500 BC: Mycenaean culture thrives on greek mainland
  • 1200 BC: Trojan war takes place
  • 750 BC: greek city-states flourish
  • 479 BC: Greece triumphs in Persian wars
  • 334 BC: Alexander begins to build his empire
  • many public buildings had statues of their gods or goddesses
  • I just got a response from Austin apparently I was right about the page numbers
  • rarely had to travel more than 85 miles to reach coastline
  • Aegean sea, Ionian sea, and the Black sea were important transportation routes
  • Greece lacked natural resources like wood, metal, and farmland
