3/4/19 i think
you said something about Greece and I didn't hear what pages so I just kind of threw a dart and now im taking notes on page 121 about greek city-states.
- 2000 BC: Minoan civilization prospers on Crete
- 1500 BC: Mycenaean culture thrives on greek mainland
- 1200 BC: Trojan war takes place
- 750 BC: greek city-states flourish
- 479 BC: Greece triumphs in Persian wars
- 334 BC: Alexander begins to build his empire
- many public buildings had statues of their gods or goddesses
- I just got a response from Austin apparently I was right about the page numbers
- rarely had to travel more than 85 miles to reach coastline
- Aegean sea, Ionian sea, and the Black sea were important transportation routes
- Greece lacked natural resources like wood, metal, and farmland
